Who we are ? – CUCHÖT – Réchauffe la lune, pas la terre

THE FOUNDERS

In December 2020, Pascale and Valérie, two French friends passionate about design and comfort, met for lunch on a rooftop. As they warmed up under the heaters, they were outraged by the absurdity of these atmospheric heaters, which did not align with the French idea of comfort and conviviality.

Inspired by French textile expertise and the art of living à la française, they set themselves a mission: to create products that combine comfort, design, and environmental responsibility. They imagined heated cushions that could transform terraces into oasis of comfort, while respecting the environment.

“Cuchot Réchauffe la Lune, Pas la Terre”
Translated to English, this means “Cuchot Heats the Moon, Not the Earth.” However, in French, “la lune” is also a colloquial term for the buttocks. This slogan humorously highlights our outdoor heating cushions, which warm the individual rather than the entire outdoor space.

“Cuchot réchauffe le corps, pas le décor”
This translates to “Cuchot Heats the Body, Not the Decor.” This slogan is related to our indoor heating cushions providing personalized warmth without heating the entire room.

Sustainability
All Cuchöt spare parts: the outer cover, the inner cushion and the battery are sold separately, replaceable or repairable thanks to the proximity of our manufacturers.
